40000L Coral Reef Aquarium

  • 40000L Coral Reef Aquarium

    November 2010

David Saxby and Aquarium Architecture have come together in a joint venture to create Europe’s largest coral reef aquarium.

The installation, due to start in early 2011 will be a 45,000 litre living coral reef, based upon David Saxby’s world renowned residential aquarium.

The installation is set to draw on new innovative reef keeping techniques honed by David throughout his years of reef keeping and developing D-D Aquarium Solutions.

Corals are striking to have in an aquarium, along other aquatic creatures or by themselves. However, corals are not easy to maintain in an aquarium. In the past, corals used to be almost impossible to keep but nowadays, the knowledge has extended and many clients choose to have live corals in their aquarium. Some of the live corals that are easier to maintain are: Mushroom Coral, Mushroom and Leather, Sea Mat and Button Polyp, Finger Leather and Colt.
