Operations Supervisor

Steve worked in the aquatic industry for almost 10 years, and kept aquatic animals for over 20 years. He started with a tropical fish tank and has since kept native, cold water and a marine reef aquarium – even breading a few types of seahorse. His hands on experiences has made me a very logical and pragmatic person. Steve has extensive knowledge on the practicalities of designing and maintaining an aquarium, as well as having an excellent knowledge of the inhabitants.

When he is not working he likes to keep active, and enjoys taking part in team sports. He co-established and captains his local rugby union team and also runs a summer touch rugby evening for the local community. He also enjoys playing 7 a side football and has recently taken up squash.

At the moment, he has a nano planted aquarium  and plans on keeping an array of Sulawesi. He also has a nano reef tank, which he plans to keep boxing crabs crabs and antler crabs in.
