‘Big in the City’

  • ‘Big in the City’

    February 2011

Practical Fishkeeping have recently produced an article about Aquarium Architecture’s large wall installation near Tower Bridge. The article titled ‘Big in the City’ reads as follows:

“Capital investment is paying huge dividends in financier land!

Aquarium installation company Aquarium Architecture has completed a project in which the brief was to create a ‘full wall aquarium’ as exclusive as this luxury city of London residence overlooking Tower Bridge. The clever disguise of the 5 metre aquarium has created an illusion of a free floating installation, offering a seamless minimalist facade.

The owners opted for a full coral reef based on a natural ecosystem and the finished aquarium holds more than 10,000l/2,200gal and spans an area of over 240 sq ft.

Under the watchful eye of aquarium Architecture’s aftercare team, this aquarium, now with tangs and angelfish established, has become one of the big talking points, not only in the world of hobby but also in design decor circles.”

Aquarium Architecture are delighted with the article and are pleased to see such a fabulous tank get the recognition it so greatly deserves.
